Coriander powder is made from the roasted and ground seeds of the coriander plant. This mild, warming and versatile spice can be used in a variety of dishes. It has a nutty and earthy aroma with a slightly smoky, lemony and sweet flavour and is a key component of garam masala and mix powder. Don’t confuse it for fresh coriander as it has a completely different flavour and taste to it.
