Cooking instructions

Simply heat the sauce with your choice of pre-cooked meat, fish, paneer or vegetables

All appliances vary. These are guidelines only. Check food is piping hot before serving.

TIP: Cook the sauce uncovered or partially covered to allow steam to escape and sauce to thicken. Cook for a little longer to thicken the sauce to your desired consistency and achieve a deeper flavour.

Chicken Madras using PRE-COOKED chicken

  1. Add the sauce and pre-cooked chicken and simmer gently for 5-10 minutes or until chicken is piping hot throughout and sauce thickened. Serve with rice.

Take a look at our pre-cooked chicken recipe or try using shop bought chicken tikka pieces.

Chicken Madras using FRESH chicken

  1. Dice 2 chicken breasts (300g) and gently fry in a little oil for 3 minutes (optionally add ½ teaspoon garlic and ginger paste and ½ teaspoon mix powder to improve flavour of the chicken).
  2. Add the sauce and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens. Serve with rice.
Storage instructions

Store in a cool, dark, dry place. See pouch for best before date. Once opened refrigerate & use within 3 days. Do not use if pouch is bloated or leaking.

  1. I cannot praise this company enough or their products. The madras sauce along with all the others I purchased is amazing. After an issue with the delivery company on my 2nd order, these guys ensured I got my order replaced. 100 % best customer service ever. Would highly recommend all products and service

  10. Very good

  11. I absolutely loved this. I did an Indian takeaway night and everyone loved this, this madras sauce was literally better than any curry house I’ve been too. To me it tasted exactly like my favourite akbars. I ditched the chicken part of this recipe and made the chicken tikka recipe and then used that to put my curry in. The chicken tikka madras I made was better than any restaurant, suffice to say I’ll just buy a load of this packs now and freeze them!

  12. Beautiful and simple

  13. Spot on. Thought I was eating in a restaurant

  14. On a par with our local Indian takeaway, excellent.
